Astberg AT501 Single Room ERV with WiFi, HEPA Option and Dust Filter
Astberg AT501 Single Room ERV with WiFi, HEPA Option and Dust Filter
Price: Rs. 33,490 (MRP Rs. 38,514)
In short: The Astberg AT501 is a ductless, wall-mounted energy recovery ventilator (ERV) for a single room of up to 15 m2. It brings in filtered outdoor air and removes stale indoor air at the same time, while recovering part of the heating or cooling energy. It runs at 20-30 dB, offers three fan speeds (28, 32 or 35 CFM), and can be controlled from the unit, a remote or WiFi.
Why sealed rooms need ventilation
Modern apartments with tight windows and running air conditioners often have little natural air exchange. Carbon dioxide, odours, moisture and indoor pollutants can build up, which can make a room feel stuffy and may affect sleep and comfort. Opening a window brings in fresh air, but also outdoor dust, noise and heat. The AT501 is designed to exchange air while filtering it and reducing the energy penalty.
Best for / Not for
Best for:
- Bedrooms and master bedrooms
- Small apartments and studios
- Home offices and guest rooms
- Nurseries and kids' rooms
- Small classrooms and offices
- Garages, workshops and tiny homes
Key features
- Energy recovery: a heat exchanger returns part of the energy from outgoing air to incoming air, reducing the load on your air conditioner compared with an open window.
- Filtration: G3 dust filter as standard; HEPA filter available as an option. Filters help keep dust and outdoor particles, including PM2.5, out of the room.
- Quiet operation: 20 dB, 24 dB or 30 dB depending on fan speed. High-quality soundproofing material is used in the unit.
- Smart control: touch control panel on the unit, a wireless remote, and WiFi for speed adjustment and monitoring.
- Easy installation: fits through a wall sleeve; the tube can be cut to wall thickness.
- Pair operation: units work in pairs, wired together. One blows in while the other blows out; after about a minute they reverse. This keeps the room from being pressurized or depressurized.

Outdoor noise enters |
An air purifier cleans air already in the room but does not replace it, so it does not lower CO2. An ERV exchanges the air.
Installation and maintenance
Installation: The AT501 is installed in a sleeve through an exterior wall of 250-450 mm thickness. A core hole of about 163 mm is required, and the tube can be cut to length. Two units are wired together. We recommend professional installation.
Maintenance: Clean or replace filters regularly.
Frequently asked questions
What size room does the AT501 cover?
Up to 15 m2. For larger spaces, use more than one unit or choose a whole-home balanced ventilation system.
Does an ERV help in a sealed apartment with split ACs?
Yes, it is designed for that. It supplies filtered outdoor air while recovering part of the cooling energy from the outgoing air, which reduces the penalty compared with opening a window.
Is the AT501 quiet enough for a bedroom?
It runs at 20, 24 or 30 dB depending on fan speed, which suits bedrooms and nurseries.
Does it filter dust and PM2.5?
It includes a G3 dust filter as standard. A HEPA filter is optional for finer particle filtration.
Do I need two units?
Units operate in pairs and are wired together so that one supplies while the other exhausts, then they reverse.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes, through WiFi. You can also use the touch panel or the remote.
What is the difference between ERV and HRV?
An HRV recovers heat only. An ERV recovers heat and moisture energy, which can matter in humid climates.
Will it work in a 3BHK?
One AT501 covers one room of up to 15 m2.

Your usage
Estimates compare this unit's rated draw against a conventional AC fan of similar airflow, at your local grid emission factor. Actual figures vary with speed setting and duct design.
Acoustics
Powerful. Not loud.
Thousands of cubic metres of air every hour, engineered to stay out of your conversations. Here is where this unit sits on the sound scale.
Sound pressure in dB(A), typical values at 3 m. The scale is logarithmic — every 10 dB drop is roughly half the perceived loudness.
